Judge Victoria Brennan: Former County Court Judge

Judge Victoria Brennan served as Assistant General Counsel within the administration of Governor Jeb Bush between 2005 and 2006. Near the end of her tenure in this role, Judge Victoria Brennan applied for and was appointed to the position of judge of the County Court of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida—an opportunity made official after being vetted and nominated by the Judicial Nominating Commission of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit.
Judge Victoria Brennan served as County Court Judge for over four years. Her early civil court experience involved handling lawsuits involving sums less than $15,000—though much of her tenure was spent as  a judge in the Court’s Domestic Violence Division. As such, Judge Brennan was responsible for conducting criminal jury trials and civil injunction hearings in matters of domestic violence.

Two years after her initial appointment that Judge Brennan stood for election. She was unopposed and retained.
